Riddle Me This! Part 2

samsons riddle

“Tell us your riddle,” they said. “Let’s hear it.”

He (Samson) replied,

“Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the STRONG, something SWEET” (Judges 14:13-14 NIV).

Let’s look at this lion with honey a little deeper–who does the lion represent? Jacob prophesies over his son Judah and says this,

“Judah is a lion’s whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He couches, he lies down as a lion, And as a lion, who dares rouse him up? “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. “He ties his foal to the vine, And his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; He washes his garments in wine And his robes in the blood of grapes” (Genesis 49:9-11 NASB).

Hopefully, you see this riddle is deeper.

“Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the STRONG, something SWEET.”

The Philistines pondered for three days but could not form an answer to the riddle.

“Then Samson’s wife threw herself on him, sobbing, “You hate me! You don’t really love me. You’ve given my people a riddle, but you haven’t told me the answer.”

“I haven’t even explained it to my father or mother,” he replied, “so why should I explain it to you?” She cried the whole seven days of the feast. So on THE SEVENTH DAY, he finally told her, because she continued to press him. She, in turn, explained the riddle to her people” (Judges 14:13-17 NLT).

The Gentiles eyes are beginning to open at this time to The FATher’s riddles and His Days.

According to the sages, the world will endure for 6,000 years of time known as the Olam Hazeh (the present world). The last 1,000 years is known as the Messianic era or the future age to come.  The 7th Feast, the Feast of Tabernacles is a time like no other when The King sets up His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years. Study Leviticus 23, Exodus 12 and 13 and learn about how we are to keep these Feast, year after year, forever. They unlock the secrets of the kingdom.
Is it a fluke that the answer was revealed on the 7th day? I say no.

Yeshua and His resurrected believers will rule the world for a thousand years until?

1 Corinthians 15 explains, “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God The Father after HE has destroyed all dominion, authority, and power. For He must reign until He has put ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include the Father himself, who put everything under Christ. When He has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all” (15:24-28 NIV).

Many sing songs and proclaim that the enemy is under their feet, but that time hasn’t officially been set up.

As we draw closer to That Day, the mysteries of The Kingdom are coming forth, and THIS LION YESHUA AND HIS HONEY TORAH are sweeping the land, and more Christians (Philistines out of covenant) are seeing the Jewish Savior and His WORD that became FLESH and dwelt among us.
Also, more Jews are enlightened to know YESHUA, the ANOINTED ONE. This is the promised land flowing with milk and honey. His honey–Out of that lion does come something sweet. When you read all of Psalms 119, you can see His perfect HONEY and what we are to meditate on and not throw away.

(Psalm 19:9-10 ESV)  “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.”
Do we throwa way gold?
But ignorantly we did just that.

“Then the Spirit of the Lord came POWERFULLY upon him (Samson). He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of everything and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle” (Judges 14:19 NIV).

Later Samson tries to get his wife back but learns her father gave her to another man. Now, he is really raged, and so he catches 300 foxes (I have no idea how?) and ties their tails together and lights them on fire. The Hebrew word for foxes is also jackals.

The fire destroys all of the harvests of the Philistines, so they burn Samson’s wife and her father to death.

Strange enough that word Ashkelon means “the fire of infamy: I shall be weighed.” The wicked shall be weighed and burned with fire. They become ashes under the souls of our feet. We all need baptized in water and fire. “”As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matt. 3:11 NASB).

“You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 4:3 NASB).

(Matthew 13:30 NIV) “Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: FIRST, collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.”

“Then the Philistines went up and camped in Judah, and spread out in Lehi. The men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” And they said, “We have come up to bind Samson in order to do to him as he did to us.” THEN 3,000 MEN OF JUDAH went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam and said to Samson, “Do you not know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” And he said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.” They said to him, “We have come down to bind you so that we may GIVE YOU INTO THE HANDS OF THE PHILISTINES” (Judges 15:11-12 NASB).

Where else in scripture do we see this number 3,000?

We see 3,000 men slaughtered after Moses comes down the mount with the Commandments due to their idolatry, and in Acts chapter two we see 3,000 souls coming back into covenant at the Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost. Could all these numbers be connected in a prophetic sense?

In the natural, we see 3,000 men who could join Gods anointed and fight, but instead, they bind Samson. They tie the hands of the very Judge the Father had raised up for such a time, and they gag him and plead with him not to upset the Philistines who rule over them.

This has been going on since the beginning of time. The religious systems and men bent on power want to rule over the people. There is a word for it that stems from where we get the logo for the shoe, Nike. Nicolaitan comes from the Latin and Greek words Nico and Laitan.  Nico comes from Nike the winged goddess of power and victory.  Nico means conqueror, ruler, or controller.  Laitans are quite simply the laity – or “the people.”  So the Nicolaitans were the rulers or controllers of the people.  They had doctrines that Jesus/Yeshua hated.Yeshua wrote about these man made systems in Revelations. “But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate” (Rev. 2:6).

Now, Samson is being bound and given to the enemy, but the enemy cannot defeat his anointing.
(Judges 15:14 NASB) “When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. And THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD CAME UPON HIM MIGHTILY so that the ropes that were on his arms were as flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds dropped from his hands. He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it.”

Why did he use a jaw bone? This is scary. Allow me to show you what happens when a nation lives wickedly for years. “

“Not a blacksmith could be found in the whole land of Israel, because the Philistines had said, “Otherwise the Hebrews will make swords or spears!” (1 Samuel 13:19 NIV).

THEY HAD NO WEAPONS…  Disarm America. Much of His Body is already disarmed because the truth has been replaced with a weak, watered-down gospel and a good feeling message. Prosperity and ease.

Samson found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it.” The donkey represents the Tribe of Issachar and they are said to be scholars above and beyond. Always searching out the truth.

Directly after this huge miracle and slaughter of the enemy, Samson goes and gets a harlot to sleep with. Here is a man who had the WIND of the Father’s Mighty power in his life, and he had strength to defeat armies. He also was set apart to release Israel from their oppression, but now, he has joined himself to a HARLOT. Sound familiar?

Hashem’s people have joined themselves to harlots.

“When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the LORD” (Hosea 1:2 KJV). All these similes paint a picture, and I hope you see that picture.

Once again Samson is surrounded by the Philistines, but he escapes and then that brings us to the third gentile woman in Samson’s life. The first one was his wife (She pleased him well) Israel did for a time, but like America, she fell into idoltry. The second woman was a harlot that fulfilled his lust and the third one the text says, HE LOVED. For God so LOVED THE WORLD! Samson gave her his hair, his strength.

When Delilah saw that he had told her all that was in his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up once more, FOR HE HAS TOLD ME ALL THAT IS IN HIS HEART.

She said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself FREE.” But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him.”

What a scary passage. Reminds me of King Saul when he could no longer hear from the Father so he went to a witch for answers.

Has His Wind left? Has He departed from protecting us?  When you’ve known Him, and He leaves, it is a FEARFUL THING! I fear today more than ever that the Body has traded His power and anointing for motivational speakers who promise blessings, prosperity, and happiness. God wants you to be happy they scream! Noah spent over a 100 years being cursed, mocked and ridiculed while he built the Ark. Yeshua said over and over again, “YOU WILL BE HATED by everyone because of me” (Matt. 10:23).

Define everyone.

Not only does the post say things about open doors, they say things like, “God is about to do something amazing in your life. Because you went through it, He is going to bring you to it!” Add prosperity, great healings, fame, and more items to the list and these post-float around like a pink packet of sweet-n-low.  An ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER. Yes, we need faith and encouragement. Yes, I believe God opens doors and shuts them. Yes, I am a believer, but what I see around here is borderline witchcraft and to top it off they have taken some of the mightiest prophets who ever lived and created false teachings in their name! “God wants us to be happy!” Really? While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself down before the house of God, a large crowd of Israelites–men, women, and children–gathered around him. They too wept bitterly” (Ezra 10:1).

“Receive prophetic words in your inbox each day!” Really?

“I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied” (Jeremiah 23:21).

(1 Peter 4:13) “But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”

Suffering is part of this life.
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18 NIV).

Yeshua never came and spared the many who have been beheaded for the Gospel. He warned us through His Word that perilous times would come and that men’s hearts would stop beating due to terror.  Yeshua never came and spared John the immersers life, instead, he lost his head. Peter was crucified upside down and Hebrews chapter 11 says many lived in caves, mountains, wondering about in sheepskin, others sawed in half, beheaded and on and on it goes. Babylon will fall.

Samson’s hair grew, and in the end, he cried out to His Father, and He heard him.

One day HIs knowledge, understanding, and Torah instructions will sweep the Land and something exciting will happen. Is Samson’s hair growing back out? I believe so. The verse below should make us all leap for joy.

“The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:8-9 NASB).

Strong word! Also a hard word. I had once heard from a pastor who visited Israel and was shocked to be told by an Israeli pastor that the Western world (America) preaches a watered down gospel.

That’s hard to stomach, yet I somehow believe it’s true. You hit the nail on the head with what I feel Christians have allowed to go on in America. I can’t help but grieve in the spirit that God is removing His blessing off of America, not just because of the sin so rampant in America but also largely in part because we Christians have become fearful.

Sure, we boldly pray and we still see God’s power displayed in everyday situations but just like Elijah became fearful of Jezebel, we too live below our freedom in Christ and fear man’s opinion, political correctness, government or whatever the color of the day is. Yes, I’m saying that America is in the state it is in because we Christians have allowed it! We’ve accepted horrific sins and perversions as battles we can no longer win because we feel that the majority rules.

No!! Christ still rules and as long as we have breath, we should be arming ourselves with prayer and committing to the actions that will define our service to the King so that the lost are discovered. I strongly feel that it’s because of the remnant in America that God has held off His judgment of America. Bravo to you Bonnie for speaking the truth!! Blessings

  2. Allen, I erased this blog last week, but it just wouldn’t leave me… I did tone it down some, but I felt it was a needed word so I reposted it. I agree with the words you took the time to write here and I thank you for standing and speaking the truth in Zeal. You are so right when you say fear. America is more worried about being politically correct than being holy or righteous and that my friend can only lead to disaster. This remnant you mention, in my opinion, better get to fasting and praying and I for one know I need too…

    God bless you sir!
