I Have been a little disheartened by the post I have been reading from Christians concerning homosexuals.
There are some people who look at homosexuals with disgust and they seem to love using the word abomination. There’s not much love in that. I’ve made so many mistakes in my life and Have committed many abominations.
Pride is an abomination.
Here’s a short list of abominations.
A proud look (Pro. 6:16-17)…
A lying tongue (Pro. 6:17; 12:22)
Hands that shed innocent blood ((Pro. 6:17)
A wicked scheming heart (Pro. 6:18)
Feet that are quick to sin (Pro. 6:18)
A false witness that speaks lies (Pro. 6:19)
A sower of discord (Pro. 6:19)
Wickedness (Pro. 8:7)
A false balance or scale (Pro. 11:1)
The proud of heart (Pro. 16:5)
The older I get the more I realize I need to be looking in the Mirror and not pointing fingers. Showing more love to people and not thinking myself better than others.
Jesus said This to the church leaders of his day, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.”
By this all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”
People say I love the person, but I hate the sin.
Paul and Silas were in prison, and there was sewage up to their waist and probably rats. They had been beaten by the jailer, but they were praising and singing songs and exalting the Lord Adonai! That is when the jailer who had beaten them wanted what they had! They didn’t scream and yell at him and tell him that he was evil, and wicked and was going to burn in hell forever–they didn’t scream and yell at Satan and bind this and curse that.
Can we pour some love on people and just love them where they are at?
Hey, the one who’s been forgiven much loves much.
