Spit it out.

The burden of the word of the Lord. That’s what real prophets of the Father said before they spoke.
The Hebrew word is Massa and means doom or heavy load. The prophets today say things like you are going to get promoted in the month of November, a new car in September, a check in the mail in December and a huge blessing. False prophets and prophetic words of the day are the topics at hand. I am grieved by what I see and read.

We all enjoy getting a “good word” from the Father, but we must be careful.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1.

I recently wrote a blog entitled “By His Stripes,” where I go into detail about a dear friend who was prophesied over and told she would “live” by many big names in Christendom. She died of cancer shortly later. Not only was she told she would live but also that her music would be heard across the world and that she would be a great musician for the kingdom. At the same time, she was prophesied over with this message, I was standing next to her and was told I would have a #1 bestselling book. This has not happened yet but it is possible. A prophetic word can come to pass and it may take years before it does but again, we must be careful.

Prophecy is something that has been with us since the beginning of days. What it is and what it isn’t are two different things. “Thus sayeth the Lord,” better be from the Lord Adonai or it comes from Jezebel’s table and Jezebel always charges money for prophetic words. These prophets, both men, and women, eat the food from Jezzy’s table and they prophesy out of their own hearts, and they do it for fame and fortune. And yes, they get thousands of followers on facebook.

In Isreal, they had a community called the Guild of the prophets and there was also prophets appointed by kings to help them makes decisions regarding wars, disputes, leadership principles, and famine. The odds? One true prophet of the Lord Adonai to four hundred false.

So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about 400 men. “Should I attack Ramoth-Gil‘ad?” he asked them, “Or should I hold off?” They said, “Attack! Adonai will hand it over to the king.” But Y’hoshafat said, “Besides these, isn’t there a prophet of Adonai here that we can consult?”The king of Isra’el said to Y’hoshafat, “Yes, there is still one man through whom we can consult Adonai, Mikhay’hu the son of Yimlah; but I hate him, because he doesn’t prophesy good things for me, but bad!” Y’hoshafat replied, “The king shouldn’t say such a thing.” 1 Kings 22:6-8 CJB.
Same thing going on today. . .

“But there also came to be false prophets among the people, as also among you there shall be false teachers, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, and deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. .and in greed, with fabricated words, they shall use you for gain.” 2 Peter 2:1-3.
You might as well contact a fortune teller or tarot card reader because you are playing with fire if you seek them out.

I can’t find anyone in the Bible that gave a prophetic word of the day. Many believe that Deborah just sat under a palm tree and people came to her so that she could read their tea leaves. I assure you Deborah was not doing that. She was a prophet, but she also was a Torah scholar and was handling disputes just as Moses’ was. “She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided.” Judges 4:5.

They went up to her to have their DISPUTES decided. Listen, to me when I say this, be careful what food you eat today and words you receive because just as it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. Our food today is dead, but it looks amazing and tastes even better. In order to get good healthy food you have to go to a farmers market, grow your own or seek out organic grown brands and meats not pumped with hormones that puff up the meat like these false prophets do to our own hearts. They pump us up. They offer food galore but some of it’s tainted. It’s not as easy to find those who are teaching and prophesying good food. A prophet speaks with authority. That’s why when Yeshua/Jesus stood up to read the people were amazed because he spoke as one with authority.

Today we have fortune tellers in the church giving itching ear words and they can do it on a dime. They’re so good at it they even can persuade the elect. People line up and wait for them to read their mail, but if their words do not line up with HaShem’s Word, I can tell you He did not send them. Count it as truth. He would not charge money to give you His Word. And you cannot go to a “school of the prophets,” and become a prophet.

These ministers get people off course and feed them bad food. Why? Because they think they are delving into some mystery and undiscovered knowledge. Knowledge is good but it also puffs up. They entice them with smooth words. They feed them what they want to hear. Health, wealth, a spouse, a new promotion, a new home, a new door opening, a new career, fame, and leadership positions.  Can some of these words be from the Father? Yes. My husband was prophesied over that he would become a Chief and it came to pass. He was told he would start a ministry and he did. But again, we must be careful.

Some of the prophesies don’t help us but inflate our pride. Some of these men and women puff us up. They scream, “Satan you take your hands off me and my family!” Really? No one in the entire Bible said that, not even Job! He actually told his wife, ““You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” Job 2:10 ESV. Then at the end of the last chapter we read this, “After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him,…” Job 42:10-11. Yes, it was the Father who sent the evil spirits to torment Saul. It was the Father who sent a lying spirit in the mouth of the prophets. Be careful who you listen to.

Jeremiah was one of the greatest prophets of his day but when the people came to him and asked him to go before the Father and get them a word, it took him more than one day, actually, it took him ten days to hear from the Father. TEN DAYS! And that was for God’s chosen people, and it wasn’t an itching ear word. It was a HARD word.

Read Jeremiah 42:1-3. Verse seven says, “Now at the end of ten days the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah.”

Yes, we have the comforter and yes, we have the spirit of prophecy but what are we using it for? If we are charging people to tell them what the Lord Adonai has to say to them is this not sin? And does the Father not correct and chastise those He loves?

These so called prophets today prophesy out of their own hearts and they tell you lies most of the time and even if they tell you something and IT COMES TO PASS, that does not make them a true prophet. Let me show you:

If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. Deuteronomy 13:1-3.

What they say can come true, but they still may be following another master. Their god may be themselves. I know you are thinking you could never get caught up in false doctrine or teachers and that you have discernment, but I am telling you it is happening before many people’s very eyes. Let me show you a couple more verses on this disease.

“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” 2 Timothy 4:3.

There is a well-known vision in the Bible given to Peter of a sheet with all types of animals on it.

Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray.  But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground,  and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air. A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!”  But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.”  Again a voice came to him a second time, “What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.”  This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky.” Acts 10:9-16 NASB.

Peter has a vision and the Father tells him to get up kill and eat and he tells Him, “NO!” Why? Because he was testing the spirits. He knew that God created animals that He called food and other animals that were not considered food. God is not a man that He would lie and tell you not to eat a pig and then change His mind. These animals are garbage collectors and created and designed to clean up waste, whether it’s in the field or on the side of the road stinking and rotten or the bottom of the sea. Man did not create a tractor for the ocean. Man created boats, ships, and submarines for the ocean. God did not create the crow and the bat and shrimp to eat. Can you eat it today and get by without getting deathly sick? Yes, most of the time but that’s not the point.  Peter was not a Sunday morning Christian eating bacon and he was not going to eat a pig. He waited and then learned that the vision was not about animals but about the covenant and salvation going forth for all people, not just Israel.

“Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.” Acts 10:27-28.  This is after Jesus/Yeshua had ascended to the Father. Visions and dreams are metaphors for something else. Pharoah dreamed of fat cows eating skinny cows. This was not about cows but about famine coming. The problem is these men and women in the congregations have been giving these words and believing they are doing God’s will and ignorantly His truths. They tell people their anointed and that they are going to do great things and prosper. They give them itching ear words. But what does Jesus say to these people in the charismatic churches? “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them,‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” Matthew 7:21-23. what church does the things listed above? The Assemblies of God and the Pentecostals. I was raised in this type of church and am thankful for the upbringing I had , but feel we have reached a time where we need to explore many things we have incorporated into our doctrines as truths.

“Therefore it will be night for you– without vision, And darkness for you– without divination. The sun will go down on the prophets, And the day will become dark over them. The seers will be ashamed And the diviners will be embarrassed. Indeed, they will all cover their mouths Because there is no answer from God.” Micah 3:6-7.

Be careful what you eat today. Bad food tastes good until you change your diet and start eating healthy, then you want good food. Spit out the sweet -n-Low packets and if you need a Word from The Lord Adonai, open His Word.
