Leah the Wild Cow

Leah the Wild Cow

A friend of mine sent me an interesting podcast the other day about Rachel, the wife of Jacob. She was the mother of Joseph and Benjamin. She said, “I keep seeing Rachel everywhere!” When she said it, I thought that’s funny because “I keep seeing Leah.”
Oh, Leah, you break my heart . . .  What can women learn from you and your eyes that cried a million tears?
Our backdrop starts in Genesis where we learn that Jacob, the patriarch later named Israel has just fled from his brother Esau who is looking to kill him. Why is he on the run? Jacob, with the help of his mother, takes the savory game she has cooked and pretends to be the first born (Esau) in order to get the blessing. He’d already stolen his birthright. He deceives both his brother and his father Isaac. Let’s look at that real quick.
” Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn; I have done just as you told me; please arise, sit and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.”
After Isaac blesses Jacob with beautiful words –mighty and true, Esau arrives with his game he has cooked and he tells his father he is there and to please bless him, but Isaac says, “What?” Who did I just bless? Your brother has deceived you.
“When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, “Bless me—me also, O my father!” BLESS ME!
Have you ever had your blessing taken away? Right before your eyes–? By someone close to you? Yes, it’s a horrible feeling, but this story is about Leah. . . Rachel.
Leah was not the wife Jacob wanted— Rachel was the sexy dark-eyed beauty Jacob had his heart set on, but Laban tricks Jacob and gives him Leah- his first born, on his wedding night. Do you see the swap? Jacob the trickster has just been tricked. Jacob who dressed up as Esau has now met the oldest daughter dressed up as the youngest.
Imagine being so in love with a woman you agree to work seven years for her hand in marriage. Seven is the number of completion, but for Jacob, his dowry is now doubled to fourteen. There’s a message there but I’m going a different route. Imagine being Jacob for a moment. Young—handsome—on the run from your brother with his stolen birthright and blessing. Got an image? He runs and kisses Rachel at first sight. Her father agrees to the terms. And then comes the great wedding day. Ah, who is under the veil? Who is hidden from sight and unrecognizable? Again, there is a message there, but I am taking a left turn for a bit. Can you ponder what it was like when Jacob’s fingertips ran down her smooth back and kissed the nape of her neck? He became passionately one with his new bride whispering sweet tender words into her ear, but then woke up as deceived as his brother had been when he said Father don’t you have a blessing for me? BLESS ME—ME ALSO MY FATHER!
In the morning light Jacob arose only to find not Rachel the pretty little ewe lamb but Leah her tender eyed sister. Wild cow. Yes, that’s what Leah’s name means, that and weary, grief, and offense. Sorrow. One old legend explains that Rachel understood that her father had given Jacob her sister first and that she humbly helped her prepare her dress and become his bride knowing that she would be second. That is heartbreaking too.
However, Rashi tells us that there is an old rabbinic tale that explains Leah’s eyes and how they became weak or tender.
“According to this story, Leah was destined to marry Jacob’s older twin brother, Esau. In the Rabbinic mind, the two brothers are polar opposites; Jacob being a God-fearing scholar and Esau being a hunter who also indulges in murder, idolatry, and adultery. But people were saying, “Laban has two daughters and his sister, Rebekah, has two sons. The older daughter (Leah) will marry the older son (Esau), and the younger daughter (Rachel) will marry the younger son (Jacob).”[5] Hearing this, Leah spent most of her time weeping and praying to God to change her destined mate. Thus the Torah describes her eyes as “soft” from weeping. God hearkens to Leah’s tears and prayers and allows her to marry Jacob even before Rachel does.”
There is no greater sadness on the earth than a woman unloved by her lover.  Leah knew he would never love her like he did her sister. He wants her beautiful sister whose name means ewe—a lamb.
Instead of the “Bless me mantra” Leah’s words sound more like this—“Love me” Please love me. I know you have some love left inside your soul to wring out for me. A crumb my lad? Please do not let my fruitful womb go unnoticed! “
Can you hear the weak-eyed Leah crying?
When you go unnoticed for something you are good at it’s a miserable feeling. In the midst of Leah’s sadness, weakness and weariness grows a strong woman whose name is that of a wild ox-strong and mighty.  One day he’ll see what a beautiful woman his wife Leah is and he will ask to be buried with her. Rachel will die in childbirth to Benjamin on the way and she will be buried between Bethel and Ephrat. Rachel weeps for her children, not just the Joseph tribes (Ephrain and Manasseh) but Benjamin and the entire House of Israel and Judah who were taken to Babylon. Can you hear her voice coming from the cave? Crying out for her children to become one? I can. The Father tells her to restrain from weeping that her voice will be heard. WOMEN ARISE!
But I am getting ahead of myself.

“Now the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, and He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. Leah conceived and bore a son and named him [Reuben, for she said, “Because the LORD has seen my affliction; surely now my husband will love me.”  Then she conceived again and bore a son and said, “Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” So she named him Simeon. She conceived again and bore a son and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore he was named Levi. 35 And she conceived again and bore a son and said, “This time I will praise the LORD.”
Therefore she named him Judah. Then she stopped bearing. “Genesis 29:31-35.
Ah, Judah—The scepter will not depart from you! Jesus Yeshua the lion from the tribe of Judah will be praised. Leah finally reaches the point where she says forget about Jacob, my Father Adonai Elohim loves me! To every broken woman reading this know that He hears you and He loves you more than you can think or imagine. One day Leah and Rachel will be one bride. Unity is what we pray for.
I got pregnant at the age of 17 with my firstborn. We named him William. The name William means a determined protector—a strong helmet and he did become that for me and his brothers.  An old soul. After two years, many rough roads and multiple eviction notices I became pregnant with my second son and I just knew that with two sons and more responsibility, things would be different. Surely he would love me now and provide for his sons— — stop gambling—become grounded. My mother named this second son after both his grandpa’s “Robert,” but not much changed. The name Robert means bright- shining—famed one, and he is bright and filled with light. After seven years of crying and praying I gave up and went out to sow my wild oats, but we ended up back together due to his salvation journey and a new start.  He looked like Jesus and he wanted to go to church—read the bible and pray, but by this time I looked like death and the thing I had cried out for seemed like a curse.  I no longer loved him. My heavenly Father named my third son Samuel (Yahweh hears). Yahweh does hear, however, we don’t always remain faithful or obedient. I prayed for my husband to change but by the time he did I had too.  I went to church with him and tried to renew my vows, both of them. Soon he slipped back into his old habits and I wasn’t perfect either–everything looked like it did before. I stayed seven more years. Divorce breaks childrens hearts. Men and women take it from me, a woman who has made mistakes- raise them up in the ways of the Lord Adonai and His instructions.
After Samuels birth, I asked the doctors to tie—burn—cut and destroy my tubes because I did not want to bring any more life into the earth that would not be cared for. I knew this was not what the Father wanted but I disobeyed. The doctors tried to convince me not to do this because I was so young (23). The day after Samuel was born they took me back for surgery and after it was over the doctors told me they never had a case like mine that was so hard to do. They said you’ll be bruised. We had to really work to get them tied. My entire stomach turned black and blue. How many beautiful sons would He have given me? A troop possibly. My grandmother had 12. If I could go back and talk to my younger self oh the things I would say.
I’d surely try and be more like Leah, Rachel, and more like Ruth the woman I am named after.
Yah does hear and He opens Rachel womb and gives her Joseph. He is doubly FRUITFUL! Doubly BLESSED!
After the birth of Joseph, something happens to Leah that has always bothered me. I honestly can relate to this part of the story in a weary way. I know it has a greater meaning about the order of spiritual things but it still grieves me.
The moment has finally happened—Jacob, the one who was called a deceiver—the one who wrongfully seizes and usurps his way to blessings–Yes, this Jacob has wrestled with an angel of God and received a hip out of socket, a new name (Israel) and is prepared to meet his brother Esau. The one who wished to hunt him down and take his life is headed in his direction. Jacob has fear. Now, something happens that moves me to tears.
Jacob lines up his jewels—his wealth—his possessions—the things he cherishes and he has them in an order of what he deems they are worth. He places the ones he loves the most in the back for protection. Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two female servants.  He put the female servants and their children in front, Leah and her children next, and Rachel and Joseph in the rear.  He himself went on ahead and bowed down to the ground seven times as he approached his brother.”
As Leah walked with her young sons around her she still knew that her younger sister was treasured above her and the young child Joseph was safely tucked in the back with his mother–the little lamb. I have been there. Perhaps you are a woman whose husband has always placed something ahead of you and I’m not talking about Yahweh. Perhaps it’s his job—the children—money—sports—his ex—his desires. What would a woman like Leah do?
She gave up asking for his full love on the 4th try and said I’ll Praise my Lord Adonai. Her sons were blessings from Abba, my sons are too, and one day they will be mighty on the earth and the Torah of Adonai will be upon their lips and in their hearts. Yes, I am calling things that are not as though they are.

The other day this same friend who was talking about Rachel interpreted a dream for me about a little doe I saw coming through a gate and another about a male deer. She reminded me that the scriptures describe the tribe Naphtali as a deer on their banner. Ah, the handmaidens have given birth too! and their sons are also part of the 12-13. Could I be from the tribe of Naphtali? Oh, what a wondrous thought. Rachel had a handmaiden named Bilhah. According to Abarim publication, her name means timid, foolish.
The adjective בלה (baleh), meaning worn out (Ezekiel 23:43, Joshua 9:4).
The masculine noun בלוא (belo), meaning worn out things, rags. This word occurs three times in the Bible; all three times in Jeremiah 38:11-12.
The feminine noun תבלית (tablit), meaning destruction (Isaiah 10:25 only).” I have been all of those things and more! Jacob’s oldest son sleeps with Bilhah and loses his birthright and the blessing. Bilhah has a colorful background and her words describe someone I used to be. I am so thankful that my Father, My Abba Daddy, way back in that book some of you call old said, “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18.
This woman named Bilhah gives birth to Dan the judge and also Naphtali.
“Naphtali is a doe let loose, He gives beautiful words.” Genesis 49:21.
Words are my favorite thing. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Each letter was carefully crafted by the FINGER of YAH.
Naphtali also means to wrestle. Jacob wrestled all night with an angel and would not let go until he was blessed. Ah, this reminds me of both women and myself. What are you wrestling with?
My husband came into the room the other night and said he wanted to pray for me. I had been studying for hours about the red heifer and its significance to our Yeshua and this Lamb that was also perfectly slain for you and I. How wonderful that these women, the ewe and heifer gave birth to the twelve.  How magnificent our Bibles are if we would just eat them—savory bites of goodness. My Husband opened his mouth and said, “Father bless my wife and may her words fall like dew. May she hear in her ear all you want to show her about this tabernacle and Yeshua. May her pen be mighty. May she write every beautiful word that you have placed into her heart onto the pages for your glory and may you bless her books and her desire to know all about you.”
Tears.
My wrestling has ended with a blessing.
Can you hear Esau’s words—bless me too father. And he will. Love me too Leah cries and is answered. Rachel weeps for her children and he hears. “Retrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears for your work will be REWARDED.” Jeremiah 31:16.
So to all you weary Leah’s out there wrestling with your younger sister, remember you are a wild ox- strong like the red heifer. To all you Rachel’s out there you are a tender ewe, beautiful and powerful too. And to Bilhah, the one whose name means timid—worn out—rags—useless—you will give birth and your sons too will be mighty. Their words are beautiful. And how can we not mention ZILPAH!  Jacob slept with Leah’s handmaid and had Gad and Asher. According to Abarim publication, “ The name Zilpah comes from the verb זלף (zalaph). Its meaning is to drip, drop, sprinkle, pour.” POUR!
He said that in the last days He would pour out His Spirit- His Holy Ruach HaKodesh on His HANDMAIDENS and He is and I see it and they will start out as a drip—a drop—a sprinkle and then POUR! My Father My Abba Daddy has not forgotten His girls.
We praise you Yahweh for making us ONE. For bringing us together in unity—sweet unity.

Blaspheming the Holy Set Apart Spirit

Leviticussin

Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;  but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”— Mark 3:28-29 CJB.

NEVER HAS FORGIVENESS. . . . Sigh. Even Peter who denied Jesus/ Yeshua three times was forgiven and used mightily. Even Jonah who was disobedient to go to Nineveh gets another chance. Even Moses, who Yahweh was going to slay is spared when his wife circumcises their son.

Every time I read this verse I shudder. How many of you have read this verse and had fear that you might have committed this sin unknowingly?

I want to dig into this topic deeper.

Jesus/ Yeshua was accused of blasphemy in the book of Mark.

“Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” And Jesus said, “I am; and you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”  Tearing his clothes, the high priest *said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?  You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?” Mark 14:61-63.

Now, I am a Word girl. If someone is posting an article on Facebook or a blog site and they are teaching using only one verse or none, I am very leery of those post and those people. We need scriptures and Old Passages that line up with new passages–two or three witnesses at least. And beware of those who teach doctrines of men by using books like the Book of Enoch and other books of antiquity and rarely use the Bible. You only need one book for sound doctrine, but others can help.

The above passage from Mark refers to a passage in the Torah (Law).

“’Moreover, the one who blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The alien as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.” Leviticus 24:16. The religious leaders equated Yeshua saying “He was the Messiah” blasphemous because they did not believe him. He showed them by opening the eyes of the blind and raising the dead, among other things, but they were not convinced and even if they were, they were jealous. I quoted Lev. 24:16 but now let’s look at verse 15. “Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible . . .”

Curses—hmmm. That word also means to blaspheme.

Proverbs 14:31 “He that oppresses the poor blasphemeth his Maker; But he that is gracious unto the needy honoureth Him.”

We need to give more to the poor and especially the members of our own households. Let’s go back to Jesus words.

“The scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.” And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables, “How can satan cast out satan? “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. . .

“Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”— because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.” Mark 3:22-30.

Yeshua had the Most Holy Spirit living in Him, The Spirit of His Father Yahweh.

This can be difficult. At this time, more than ever before, we have division in our nation and division in the Body of Messiah. We have division in our families and homes and assemblies. What does that look like? Confusion. Division seems to be everywhere. Jesus was telling the people that His power came from above, not from demons and not from Beelzebub.

Who is Beelzebub?

Lord of the flies. Originally the name of a Philistine God.

Now, let’s gather a little more information. You see the Israelites would make fun of the Canaanite god Baal by calling him Beelzebub (Lord of flies). It was a mocking nickname against the pagan people’s god. So they were making fun of Yeshua/ Jesus. They were not saying it was from a fallen angel named satan that he got his power, but from this pagan god Beelzebub who was only powerful enough to be a ruler over flies. Let me show you a bit more. There is a book called The Testament of Solomon. In this book that is dated over a thousand years after King Solomon’s death, so he could not have written it. . . Beelzebub appears as prince of the demons and says that he was formerly a leading heavenly angel who was associated with a star named Venus or yes, you guessed it, Lucifer. Lucifer is a Latin word that was snuck into our Hebrew/ Greek text. The word Lucifer is taken from the Latin Vulgate, which translates הֵילֵל as Lucifer, meaning “the morning star.” Even Jesus/Yeshua is described as the bright morning star. When we get caught up in “the adversary” we miss the true message of blasphemy. So much Hellenism has crept into our doctrines.

“Paradise Lost is an epic poem written by the 17th-century English poet John Milton (1608–1674). The first version, published in 1667, consisted of ten books with over ten thousand lines of verse. In this poem from the 1600’s John Milton gave Satan’s lieutenant the name Beelzebub. This is how things creep into our beliefs. This is how people get off on a rabbit trail, but what is blasphemy?

Have we been guilty of accusing a miracle from the Father and His Holy Spirit to be false?

We can turn on the television and see big name ministers grabbing people and telling them to take Holy Ghost Fire!

They lay hands on them and they fall backwards. With careful glasses on I went through my Bible about ten years ago looking for people who Jesus and His disciples laid hands on that went backwards, but I could find no one falling backwards in the spirit except the Roman soldiers who came to arrest him. Not one person in the Bible  could I find who was coined as being “slain” in the Spirit. This becomes difficult because I do not want to accuse any men or women of G-d of casting out demons or healing the sick by the prince of demons or make fun . . . at the same time I do not want any part of the Kundalini spirit or a false spirit. I do not know the hearts of men. The Father searches the hearts of men and He knows.

Now, if the men and women in the Bible didn’t fall backwards, then how did they fall?

And Abram fell on his face…” Genesis 17:3.

“For it came about when the flame went up from the altar toward heaven that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.” Judges 13:20.

“Then David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, with his drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, covered with sackcloth, fell on their faces.” 1st Chronicles 21:16.

“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell face down in terror. Matthew 17:5-6.

When all the people saw it, they fell facedown and said, “Yahweh, He is God! Yahweh, He is God!” 1st Kings 18:39.

“Moshe and Aharon left the assembly, went to the entrance of the tent of meeting and fell on their faces; and the glory of Adonai appeared to them.” Numbers 20:6 CJB.

“This brilliance around him looked like a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was how the appearance of the glory of Adonai looked. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of someone speaking.” Ezekiel 1:28 CJB.

THEY FALL ON THEIR FACES!

Not one verse of anyone being slain in the Spirit. What does the word slain mean?

Webster defines the word Slain as . . .

  1. to kill by violence.
  2. to destroy; extinguish.
  3. to kill or murder.

Here is the verse of the soldiers

“Judas then, having received the Roman cohort and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. So Jesus, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, “Whom do you seek?” They answered Him, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He said to them, “I am He.” And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them. So when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew backwards and fell to the ground.” John 18:3-6.

When I was led to this verse on blasphemy the other day I had a great and awesome (Awe) Fear of the Lord Adonai come over me. What if I have blasphemed your Holy Ruach Spirit I thought to myself? Being raised in an Assemblies of God church, I have been “slain” in the spirit many times, but the question is what Spirit? Again, I don’t want to blaspheme, but I think we need to be very careful today. I have fallen backwards several times. I also have spoken in a prayer language. But what I want to ask you is, how can we know if this Spirit is from Him or some other spirit?

We are told to test the spirits, but I don’t see this being done much anymore.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1.

Testing the spirits is not just about falling in the floor, it’s about testing what you hear and yes, this blog I am writing. You should test every teacher’s words to see if they line up with HIS Word, not a pastor or teacher’s words. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is a fearful thing and so is lying to it.

One couple in the Bible lied to the Holy Spirit and were struck dead.

Why has the Adversary so filled your heart that you lie to the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and keep back some of the money you received for the land? Before you sold it, the property was yours; and after you sold it, the money was yours to use as you pleased. So what made you decide to do such a thing? You have lied not to human beings but to God!” Acts 5:3-4 CJB. The next verse talks about this man dropping dead and then his wife dropped dead. Fear and dread filled the hearts of men and women, not hyper grace.

In John chapter 10, the Jews pick up stones to stone Jesus with. He tells them, “You have seen me do many good deeds that reflect the Father’s power; for which one of these deeds are you stoning me?”   The Judeans replied, “We are not stoning you for any good deed, but for blasphemy — because you, who are only a man, are making yourself out to be God .”  Yeshua answered them, “Isn’t it written in your Torah, ‘I have said, “You people are Elohim’ ”? If he called ‘elohim’ the people to whom the word of Elohim was addressed (and the Tanakh cannot be broken),  then are you telling the one whom the Father set apart as holy and sent into the world, ‘You are committing blasphemy,’ just because I said, ‘I am a son of Elohim’?

“If I am not doing deeds that reflect my Father’s power, don’t trust me.  But if I am, then, even if you don’t trust me, trust the deeds; so that you may understand once and for all that the Father is united with me, and I am united with the Father.” 10:31-38 CJB.

Jesus said even if you don’t trust me, trust the deeds.

I leave you with a few questions and welcome all responses.

What do you think blaspheming the Holy Set Apart Spirit is? How do you think a person would know if they had?

Riddle Me This! Part 2

samsons riddle

“Tell us your riddle,” they said. “Let’s hear it.”

He (Samson) replied,

“Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the STRONG, something SWEET” Judges 14:13-14 NIV.

Let’s look at this lion with honey a little deeper–who does the lion represent? Jacob prophesies over his son Judah and says this…

“Judah is a lion’s whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He couches, he lies down as a lion, And as a lion, who dares rouse him up? “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. “”He ties his foal to the vine, And his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; He washes his garments in wine And his robes in the blood of grapes” Genesis 49:9-11 NASB. Hopefully, you are seeing this riddle is deeper.

“Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the STRONG, something SWEET.”

The Philistines pondered for 3 days but could not form an answer to the riddle.

“Then Samson’s wife threw herself on him, sobbing, “You hate me! You don’t really love me. You’ve given my people a riddle, but you haven’t told me the answer.”

“I haven’t even explained it to my father or mother,” he replied, “so why should I explain it to you?” She cried the whole seven days of the feast. So on THE SEVENTH DAY, he finally told her, because she continued to press him. She, in turn, explained the riddle to her people.” Judges 14:13-17 NLT.

The Gentiles eyes are beginning to open at this time to The Lord Adonai’s riddles and His ways.

According to the sages, the world will endure for 6,000 years of time known as the Olam Hazeh (the present world). The last 1,000 years is known as the Messianic era or the future age to come.  The 7th Feast, the Feast of Tabernacles is a time like no other when The King sets up His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years. Study Leviticus 23, Exodus 12 and 13 and learn about how we are to keep these Feast Year after Year, forever and how they unlock the secrets of the kingdom. Is it a fluke that the answer was revealed on the 7th day? I say no.

Yeshua/ Jesus and His resurrected believers will rule the world for a thousand years until?

1 Corinthians 15 explains, “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God The Father AFTER HE HAS DESTROYED ALL dominion, authority, and power. For he must reign until he has put ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include the Father himself, who put everything under Christ. When He has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.” 15:24-28 NIV.

Many sing songs and proclaim that the enemy is under their feet, but that time hasn’t officially been set up.

As we draw closer to the end of days, the mysteries of The Kingdom are coming forth and THIS LION YESHUA AND HIS HONEY TORAH are sweeping the land and more Christians (Philistines out of covenant) are seeing the Jewish Savior and His WORD that became FLESH and dwelt among us. Also, more Jews are enlightened to know YESHUA, the ANOINTED ONE. This is the promise land flowing with milk and honey. His honey–Out of that lion does come something sweet. When you read all of Psalms 119 you can see HIS perfect HONEY and what we are to meditate on and not throw away like the gentile church has.

Psalm 19:9-10 “The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb” ESV. DO YOU THROW AWAY THINGS WORTH MORE THAN GOLD? But the Christians have ignorantly done just that. Turn on the news and you will see a very Torah-less society of law breakers. We need the Spirit and the Commandments.

I want to be one of the ones who knows the answers to the riddle. I want to know the truth and be ready so that I am found worthy to reign with HIM for 1,000 years.

We get down to verse 19 and it says, “Then the Spirit of the Lord came POWERFULLY upon him (Samson). He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of everything and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle” Judges 14:19 NIV. Later Samson goes and tries to get his wife back but learns her father gave her to another man. Now, he is really raged and so he catches 300 foxes (I have no idea how?) and ties their tails together and lights them on fire. The Hebrew word for foxes is also jackals.

The fire destroys all of the harvests of the Philistines so they go burn Samson’s wife and her father to death.

Strange enough that word Ashkelon means “the fire of infamy: I shall be weighed”… The wicked shall be weighed and burned with fire. They become ashes under the souls of our feet.

“You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 4:3 NASB.

Matthew 13:30 says, “Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: FIRST, collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn'” NIV.

“Then the Philistines went up and camped in Judah, and spread out in Lehi. The men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” And they said, “We have come up to bind Samson in order to do to him as he did to us”. THEN 3,000 MEN OF JUDAH went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam and said to Samson, “Do you not know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” And he said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.” They said to him, “We have come down to bind you so that we may GIVE YOU INTO THE HANDS OF THE PHILISTINES” Judges 15:11-12 NASB. Where else in scripture do we see this number 3,000?

We see 3,000 men slaughtered after Moses comes down the mount with the Commandments due to their idolatry, and in Acts chapter two we see 3,ooo souls coming back into covenant at the Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost. Could all these numbers be connected in a prophetic sense? Back to Samson.

In the natural, we see 3,000 men who could join Gods anointed and fight but instead they BIND Samson. They tie the hands of the very Judge Yahweh raised up for such a time and they gag him and plead with him not to upset the Philistines WHO LORD OVER THEM.

Don’t upset the Terrorist, don’t upset the religion of peace–don’t upset your pastor by pointing out false doctrine– be politically correct. Don’t arrest those destroying property. On and on it goes, men like these hiding in rocks and some are literally now due to ISIS. We here in America are losing our Freedom many have worked their lives for, fought for, died for even, to a nation that’s turned its back on Yahweh and is bent on LAWLESSNESS (TORAHLESSNESS)…And the Christians BIND the very ones who are trying to teach them the original Hebrew and call many ministers dangerous to the Body of Yeshua Messiah. They want to stop us and gag our mouths because they fear we lead people into bondage. They are scared of the Jewishness of their faith. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8 NIV… Yes, this is TRUTH but we have created a GRACE called radical grace, a sugar coated gospel that doesn’t change people.  Sugar gives you a buzz but then you BURN OUT quickly.

What I see in Christianity today is an artificial sweetener, like the product Sweet-n-low. It’s toxic poisoning to the body of Yeshua/ Jesus.

Judges 15:14, “When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. And THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD CAME UPON HIM MIGHTILY so that the ropes that were on his arms were as flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds dropped from his hands. He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it” NASB.

Why did he use a jaw bone? This is scary. Allow me to show you what happens when a nation lives wickedly for years. “Not a blacksmith could be found in the whole land of Israel, because the Philistines had said, “Otherwise the Hebrews will make swords or spears!” 1 Samuel 13:19 NIV.

THEY HAD NO WEAPONS…  Disarm America. Much of the Christian congregation is already disarmed because they have thrown the TRUTH away and replaced it with a weak, watered down gospel and a good feeling message. Prosperity and ease.

Samson found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, so he reached out and took it and killed a thousand men with it.”

Directly after this huge miracle and slaughter of the enemy, Samson goes and gets a harlot to sleep with. Here is a man who had the WIND of The Lord Adonai in his life, and he had strength and power. He also was set apart to release Israel from their oppression and yet he has joined himself to a HARLOT. Sound familiar?

Hashem’s people have joined themselves to harlots. “When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the LORD” Hosea 1:2 KJV. All these similes paint a picture and I hope you are seeing that picture.

Once again Samson is surrounded by the Philistines but he escapes and then that brings us to the third gentile woman in Samson’s life. The first one was his wife (She pleased him well) Israel did for a time and I believe America did as well. The second woman was a harlot that fulfilled his lust and the third one the text says, HE LOVED. For God so LOVED THE WORLD! Samson gave her his hair, his strength…

When Delilah saw that he had told her all that was in his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistines, saying, “Come up once more, FOR HE HAS TOLD ME ALL THAT IS IN HIS HEART…She said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself FREE.” But he did not know that the LORD had departed from him…

Has His Wind left? Has He departed from protecting us? When the Spirit is on us we know. We can feel it. No atheist can tell us OUR FATHER doesn’t exist because we know that He does. When you’ve known HIM and He leaves, it is a FEARFUL THING… I fear today more than ever that the Church has traded His power and anointing for motivational speakers who promise blessings, prosperity, and happiness. God wants you to be happy they scream! Yet, Noah spent over a 100 years being cursed, mocked and ridiculed while he built the boat. Jesus/ Yeshua said over and over again, “YOU WILL BE HATED by everyone because of me” Matt. 10:23.

Not only do the post say things about open doors they say things like. “God is about to do something amazing in your life. Because you went through it, He is going to bring you to it!” Add prosperity, great healings, fame, and more items to the list and these post-float around like a pink packet of sweet-n-LOW.  ARTIFICIAL SWEETENER. Yes, we need faith and encouragement. Yes, I believe Yahweh opens doors and shuts them. Yes, I am a believer, but what I see around here is borderline witchcraft and to top it off they have taken some of the mightiest prophets who ever lived and created false teachings in their name! “God wants to be happy!” Really? While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself down before the house of God, a large crowd of Israelites–men, women, and children–gathered around him. They too wept bitterly. Ezra 10:1.

“Receive prophetic words in your inbox each day!” Really?

I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. Jeremiah 23:21.

1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

“Suffering is part of this life…I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 NIV.

Jesus/ Yeshua never came and spared the many who are being beheaded. He warned us through His Word that perilous times would come and that men’s hearts would stop beating due to terror.  Jesus never came and spared John the Baptist life, instead, he lost his head. Peter was crucified upside down and Hebrews chapter 11 says many lived in caves, mountains, wondering about in sheepskin, others sawed in half, beheaded and on and on it goes. Babylon will fall. Our great nation will FALL. Read Revelations 17, and 18 and ponder our nation America with its SWEET-N-LOW artificial gospel that has no power.  Samson’s hair grew and in the end, he cried out to His Father and He heard him. Perhaps, Hashem will spare some Daniels, some Jeremiah’s, and some Abednego’s?  I hope so because he gave Jeremiah some very solemn news.

“Then the LORD said to me: “Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to this people. Send them away from my presence! Let them go!” Jeremiah 15:1 NIV.

On a positive note, I see more and more KNOWLEDGE increasing and with it a people who have a fear of HIM and a desire to please HIM and obey Him. I see a people who read and study and seek Him. When the people have the knowledge of how to obey Him and Yeshua, then the Lord Adonai says this will happen, “The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den. They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea” Isaiah 11:8-9 NASB.

Narcissism and Selfies

One of the latest crazes is taking photos of oneself and uploading them onto social media sites. It’s called “Selfies.” Being obsessed with our looks and outward appearance has become a major thing in today’s world where everybody can pull up anybody via the internet. I want to talk about things that seem to have an outward appearance but are spiritually dead. Jude talked about men who were blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—TWICE DEAD.

1 Samuel 4 tells us that when the ark of the LORD’s covenant came into the camp of the Philistines, all Israel raised such a GREAT SHOUT that the ground shook before the Philistines, but it was an empty shout, void of power.

Have you ever been in a church service or meeting where the music was loud and the people were shouting, but the spirit seemed absent? The Philistines were afraid, for they said, “God has come into the camp.” And they said, “Woe to us!

The Philistines defeated ISRAEL and Eli’s sons were slain along with 30 thousand footmen. Israel had The Ark, but The Ark was silent that day. The blessed Holy Ruach Manifestation of Yahweh was inside that golden box but NO AMOUNT OF SHOUTING could cause it to stir.  We know The Holy breath of Yah, was still inside it because when the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it to the house of Dagon their god, they arose early the next morning and Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. 1 Samuel 5:2.  Yes, He was and is very much alive.

Eli, the high priest, had a daughter-n-law who was in labor when she heard the Ark had been captured by the enemy and that her husband had died. She gave birth to a son and “She named the child Ichabod, saying, “THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM ISRAEL;” because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father-in-law and her husband.” 1 Samuel 4:21.

The people Yahweh had put in charge of His house and His most Holy things had made it about them. They had become Narcissist. His church today can look and sound identical. We can make a loud noise but remain mostly weak and unable to fight. I have a friend who said, “Tekoa you can’t fill a football stadium with a message about picking up a cross and dying on it. Sadly this may be true, but the glorious spirit of The Lord God Adonai will cause people to come out in droves and huddle around fishing boats and hillsides if it’s the real thing. His Spirit will cause us to study Torah and be obedient.

Eli, the high priest, died when he heard that the ark of the covenant of The Lord had been stolen by the enemy.  His sons, who had been wicked and committed many sins, even adultery right there in the tabernacle of the Lord Adonai, now laid dead as well. The sons of Eli had lived like the devil while wearing the holy priestly robes. They had fulfilled every pleasure of their flesh with sex, food, and money. They grabbed the Ark and just expected HaShem to show up. They were counting on GRACE–grace they didn’t deserve. The Ark of the Covenant was taken with the children of Israel into battle. The Ark was where the Holy power of God lived. He now lives in born again believers, but He can be grieved and He can depart. You can take a selfie and look good on the outside but be dead on the inside.

Let’s ponder a few verses and notice the definitions below.

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30 NIV.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, “Quench not the spirit” NIV.

  1. Quench= extinguish (a fire).
  2. Grieve= cause great hurt

“Yet they rebelled and GRIEVED his Holy Spirit. So he turned and BECAME THEIR ENEMY and he himself fought against them.” Isaiah 63:10 NIV.

“How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has INSULTED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?” Hebrews 10:29 NIV.

I fear we as a Body have INSULTED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE TODAY.

I was thinking about a song I used to sing in my youth, it went like this. “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place, I can feel his mighty power and his grace.” As the song rang in my spirit I remembered a time when the Holy Spirit seemed to be stronger in the assemblies.  Is it just me or is the bride sleepy? There were 5 foolish virgins and 5 wise and all 10 had something in common, they all fell asleep waiting.

The maiden in the book of Songs of Solomon doesn’t fall asleep, no she does the opposite.

“ALL NIGHT LONG on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves; I looked for him BUT DID NOT FIND HIM. I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I WILL SEARCH for the one my heart loves.” Song of Solomon 3:1-3 NIV.

Are you searching for Him or just going through a routine of making a loud noise? There is a type of flower called Narcissus. These flowers have a distinguishing characteristic, they have in the center of the plant a corona or also known as a CROWN. It arises at the throat of the bloom and looks like a TRUMPET.

We can blow a lot of hot air like a trumpet and brag on The Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh and still grieve Him. We can shout and make a great roar, a shout so loud the earth shakes, but if it doesn’t shake us out of our drowsiness we will end up just like Eli and his sons, “dead.” Narcissist make things all about them… WE MUST DECREASE, HE MUST INCREASE “It’s All About him.” His Torah and His Light.
