The Cost of a Garment

A Seasoned Coat

I had a dream last week right after Passover. In my dream, there were two men with their backs to me. They each had on a Jewish prayer shawl with the tzitzit or tassels that are specially knotted representing the 613 Torah commandments. This is the very shawl Jesus/Yeshua was wearing when the lady with the issue of blood crawled through the crowd and touched the hem of his garment. She touched the Word in more ways than one. This was a commandment from Deuteronomy and Numbers. Let’s look at that real quick before we go farther.
“The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.” Leviticus 15:37-39 NIV.
The first man’s shawl in my dream was older, darker as in aged—seasoned, and I remember this man had his head bowed (humble). The man behind him was larger and dressed in a sparkling new prayer shawl. It was bright and white and unseasoned. I walked behind this man in my dream with the bright white one and yanked off his prayer shawl.
When I woke up I said, Father, what are you trying to tell me? A friend called that day and explained that this was an exposing of the men who wear the tallit but do not know what it represents. The coat has a deeper significance. Jesus/Yeshua said that if we love him we will keep his commandments. “For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.” 1st John 5:3 NASB.
This seems simple enough but I never really knew the amount of grace I was under before my eyes were opened to many passages in my Bible.
A few days later I saw a man wearing this type of garment who is in leadership. He was preaching an Easter service on a Sunday morning. This man does a lot of good works for the poor, the homeless, and the addicts, but I wondered if he was aware that among those tassel threads hanging down is a thread that says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Exodus 20:8 KJB. This was never changed to Sun-day. The words from Paul about “one man considers a day more sacred” has nothing to do with a day that is our wedding day– A day the Father blessed and set apart. A day our Father says is a sign to us. Why? Because that day of rest represents our rest forever in the Kingdom. It’s the millennial reign. Men who wear that type of shawl with those holy marriage vows hanging off keep the Sabbath. They obey those tassels—even after Yeshua’s death and resurrection they obeyed the commandments.

Malachi 3:6I the LORD do not change.”
Those who cloak their head in humbleness under that tent like shawl keep the Sabbath and the Feast. Our next Feast is written about in the book of Acts Chapter two. They were in one accord for a feast that was mandatory. They didn’t just decide to get together in unity in an upper room and wait for no reason. When Jesus/Yeshua told them to wait they knew what that meant. They were counting the omer.
“Even unto the day after the seventh sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new grain offering unto the LORD” Leviticus 23:16 KJV.
“Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” He said they were His Feast, not a Jewish Feast but even if they were a “Jewish” Feast weren’t we engrafted into a Hebraic faith before Constantine and others polluted it?
Wasn’t Paul and all the others in the New portion of the book still keeping all the Feast which were and are all about Jesus/Yeshua. Paul said, “Therefore let us keep the feast” 1st Corinthians 5:8 NASB.
Many times we wear things that are not congruent with who we are yet. I know many times in my past I wanted to own one of those shawls but I really did not know what that meant. I just thought it was “cool.” I wasn’t aware that the very Word of Yah—the Torah was wrapped in this garment. The dead are wrapped in it. It is often translated as wings in the King James and yes, even a tent. This is the shadow of His Wings because it is golden instructions to keep us holy and safe. Protection.
We often wear many things that misrepresent who we are.
One of the items we wear is “titles.”
Have you ever had an experience with someone you didn’t know personally that was unfavorable? A person who wears the same titles as you? Titles like Nurse—teacher—Pastor—Rabbi–Political titles and so forth. Yes, “those people.” Ever met someone on social media and had some dialogue that went Due South? Perhaps you had a fluctuating opinion over a passage of the Bible, an elected official, a political topic, or something else and then found out that the person you are conversing with is the author and producer of? The director and CEO of? Your mother-n-law’s cousin? Your Rabbi’s son? Your Pastors niece? Oh, yes this happened to me last week–not once, not twice,–well you get the picture.
After my second rebuttal with the first person, I went to their Facebook page and found out they were friends with someone I really admire and also they held an important title. I sort of thought hmm, perhaps I shouldn’t have said what I said. Although I tried to be graceful in my words, my belief was clearly different on the matter due to my life experiences and passages I had studied. I heard the Father say, “Would you make a difference in my Word for a person of man’s esteem?
Do you treat people differently?”
Ouch.
And that’s when conviction set in. “No, I don’t think so Father but you know my heart.”
“The heart is crooked above all, and desperately sick – who shall know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 ISR.
If I would have known what title the person had would I have treated them differently? Have you ever been guilty of this? I think if we were honest we all would say yes. Do we treat people differently that we know our friends or family would not possibly approve of their views?
Paul walked into an area littered with men, in the midst of the Areopagus, these men were Greek scholars who put on airs at times. They stood conversing and ogling in his direction but he with great gusto said, “Men of Athens: I see how very religious you are in every way!  For as I was walking around, looking at your shrines, I even found an altar which had been inscribed, ‘To An Unknown God.’ So, the one whom you are already worshipping in ignorance-this is the one I proclaim to you.
“The God who made the universe and everything in it, and who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in man-made temples; nor is he served by human hands, as if he lacked something; since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything to everyone.” Acts 17:22-25 CJB.
All of us are guilty of ignorance but once we are presented with truth we can do better.
Lately, I have started noticing how men and women interact in a large group. How people talk to leaders. How people ignore certain ones. We often dismiss others instead of digging in and looking at conflicting opinions with a heart that says, “Abba show me anything I am missing that you may have shown them?” We also refrain from correcting those who are in leadership. This same Paul had to correct Peter in front of many. That’s tough. He couldn’t just do it in private.  “But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.” Galatians 2:11 TLV.
We also often get hung up in the knowledge and miss the Spirit. Clothing the naked—feeding the poor—visiting the sick, the widow–those in prison and so forth. Jesus/Yeshua said “I never knew you,” to a group who had not done these deeds.
Broken people don’t care if we have our Feast calendar exactly right or pronounce the Name correctly. Half the people in the streets would not even know who Yahushua or Yahweh or even Yeshua is.
So in order for Abba to make His point clearer, this happened again and again, and I even watched it happen to my husband. I think his phone conversation may have influenced his clothing. Perhaps his level of nervousness was effected at meeting someone of importance. Only his situation was the opposite. Yes, they were important but not packaged as he was expecting.
I’m going to end with an example.
Once while working at a restaurant I watched a couple come into the lounge area. The man had on overhauls and his wife weighed about 90 pounds and was wearing his gigantic t-shirt and sweat pants. My co-workers took off to the back laughing saying, “Bonnie that’s all YOU!” I pleasantly greeted them and the man asked me if he could see our wine list. He then proceeded to order a bottle even I, an employee with a key could not fetch for them. I had to get the manager to unlock the case and climb up to a hidden spot. After getting their wine they said we just will be having some soup and salad and the wine. They drank the bottle and ate the small meal and then gave me a hundred dollar tip. From that night on, they always requested me as their server and shared much of their life with me. I was blessed. If you would have seen them on the street you might have wondered if they could afford to buy a soda pop. However, after my fellow co-workers found out the tip they had left me, now when this couple came in they tried to knock me down to get to them. Ah, the heart, who can know it? Yahweh searches the hearts. He goes to and fro throughout the earth. He knows you and me. He knows our hearts.
“My brothers, do not hold the belief of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Master of esteem, with partiality. For if there should come into your meeting a man with gold rings, in a splendid robe, and there should also come in a poor one dressed in rags, and you pay attention to the one wearing the splendid robe and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor one, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves, and become judges with wicked thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers: Has Elohim not chosen the poor of this world, rich in belief and heirs of the reign which He promised to those who love Him? “James 2:1-4 ISR.
Two men in my dream wore SPLENDID ROBES, one was seasoned and one was new. Awe, Abba cleanse our garments and our hearts to be transparent and led by YOU no matter what it cost us for our life to look like that garment. “And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Revelation 19:8 KJV.

Neck-lace of the Kingdom

The whole world seems to have its eye on a giraffe named April. I heard about this pregnant mother about two weeks ago while at a family birthday party. I instantly felt Abba Father was trying to tell me something prophetically.

Yes, at the beginning of this month the whole world watched this mother named “April” waiting patiently for her to give birth, and then something incredible happened. A giraffe in Denver that no one knew was even pregnant gave birth spontaneously and hidden from view at 3 a.m. The mother was old and also on birth control, but this did not stop her from giving birth. Dobby’s mother Kipele was born at the Denver Zoo in August 1993, and is the oldest of the Zoo’s giraffes. His father is named Dikembe. (1) Like Sarah, she laughs as millions watch New York’s mother pacing in labor, and while no one is looking or expecting, her young calf comes forth and is named “Dobby.” We will get to this mother in a moment and her baby, as I believe these two mothers represent possibly America and Israel—Ruth and Orpah but let’s see how this unfolds.

Back to New York and April.

The name April means “to open” as in bud—flower. This always reminds me of Aaron and his rod and how we are to bear fruit—good fruit.

“Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.” Numbers 17:8 NASB.

This year Pesach or Passover falls on April 10th, Birth pains. . .

This month is the Hebrew month of Adar (Feb-March.) It is the 6th month of the Hebrew civil year and the 12th month of the religious year. (2) Author and teacher, K. Gallagher compared this month to a very pregnant woman about to give birth as next month Aviv/Nisan commemorates the children of Israel’s birth from the dark womb of Egypt. She explains how they passed through the opening of blood and water as YHWH birthed them (and us) as a nation. Thus, though this is a joyful month full of anticipation, it comes with the tight pressing of birth pangs.” (3)

Ah, birth pains—who here is birthing something? Pushing! Perhaps you’re moving and pacing back and forth like April? Possibly Our Abba Father is doing something different in your life. Labor and waiting on a birth are always difficult. One look at April’s huge belly holding a calf weighing up to 150 pounds looks miserable, but Abba always brings joy out of our labor.

This month Adar is said to be a time of laughter and great joy. Sarah gave birth to the Patriarch Isaac (Yitzchak) during this time and his name means “laughter,” but who wouldn’t laugh at a ninety- year- old woman giving birth or the oldest giraffe in the zoo?

I believe this prophetic message may have something to do with a Kingdom and a King. Jesus/Yeshua said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy. “Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. “Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.” John 16:20-22 NASB.

One interesting fact pointed out to me was that a giraffe’s neck has the same amount of vertebrae as humans.

  1. Gallagher explains below.

“Nearly all mammals, including humans, have SEVEN vertebrae in their necks. (4) The only difference is that an animal such as the giraffe has very large vertebra whereas a mouse has very small vertebra. Since the neck is representative of whether one’s demeanor is humble or prideful, the natural phenomenon of the neck having SEVEN vertebrae can be compared to the SEVEN Spirits of God or their counterfeit, the SEVEN wicked spirits. (5)

When one is truly filled with the Spirit of God, she will exhibit the attributes of wisdom, understanding, counsel, power, knowledge, and reverence. On the contrary, a stiff-necked person is ruled by their nephesh (flesh), which is characterized by the SEVEN abominations of Proverbs 6:16-19. The first wicked attribute is pride or haughty eyes. Pride always precedes a fall and is the antithesis to the humility of Biblical wisdom. (6)

Thus, the SEVEN vertebrae in a human’s neck teach a spiritual lesson. A pliable, submissive neck is yoked to the Creator’s easy and light sevens of the Bible. This person will eagerly accept the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven. The neck with its SEVEN vertebrae will bend and bow to the will of the King, which is demonstrated in the seven days of creation, the seven Spirits of God, the seven Feasts of Adonai, and even the seven days it takes to consecrate the Holy Temple. These SEVENs show one how the Holy Spirit works to change and promote growth in the life of the Believer for their good as a new creation in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

It feels like we are getting closer and closer to the Messianic Kingdom. The number 7 is completion, but the number 8 is fatness and joy unspeakable. Those who are filled with the Spirit and have a humble pliable neck will bow down before their King and enter the gates of the city, the New Jerusalem. I found this next picture too prophetic to let slip through unnoticed. (7)

giraffe 1

When we study the Bible carefully we find that the number seven is tied to everything. It is a number like no other and a day of rest, a wedding day for a Bride, but eight, eight is over and beyond what we can think or imagine.

“Eight in Hebrew “Shemoni [f.], shemonah [m.] Literally to “make fat”. New beginnings, not just complete (like 7), but satiated. Becoming “fat” is having more than enough. Full to overflowing. Moves from natural to supernatural.” Grace in Torah (8).

The father of the baby to be born in New York is named Oliver as in “Olive.” The olive leaf and the olive tree have always been a symbol of Israel and their national emblem is olive leaves draped around the Menorah light. Yeshua is the main branch of that light. The leaves represent peace and the word olive means oil. The word Gethsemane means oil press. This is the place where Jesus/Yeshua was crushed and pressed to the point of sweating blood. I think this giraffe may represent Israel and the birth of something new for the nation and for a people. The word “mashach,” from the same root word “Messiah” means to smear with oil and anoint. (9)

“Strong’s #4886: mashach (pronounced maw-shakh’). a primitive root; to rub with oil, i.e. to anoint; by implication, to consecrate; also to paint:–anoint, paint.”

Remember those seven vertebrae’s? Yes, a giraffe’s neck is what captures our attention. It is the thing that stands out when we see one and no wonder —the neck of a giraffe weighs about 600 pounds.

“Giraffes use their long necks to graze on leaves higher than other herbivores can reach and spot predators before they get close. Their necks tend to average about 6 feet long, and supporting such a length requires powerful muscles and big bones.” (10)

Not only are their necks six feet long but their legs are as well, and the weight of their neck again is about 600 pounds. Seems to be a lot of “6’s” here in these details so I wanted to define that number in the Hebrew.

SIX, “Shesh [f.], sheeshah [m.] Image, man, beast, flesh, sacrifice, intimacy, finished work, knowledge, sacrificial love, number of man and beast, antichrist, idol, and eternal judgment. Six usually refers to the works of man, but ideally, represents sacrificial love and intimate knowledge with the Creator. When the latter is forsaken, only idolatry and flesh remain. We are ALWAYS either projecting the image of God or the image of the beast (flesh), which is represented by the number six.” (11)

We are said to be approaching the 6,000th year. “The Talmud tells us that this world, as we know it, will last for six thousand years, with the seventh millennium ushering in the cosmic Shabbat, the Messianic Era. Six days a week we work, and on the Shabbat, we rest and enjoy the fruits of our labor; the same is true with millenniums.” (12) Are we possibly neck in neck, plummeting at breakneck speed into the Kingdom of His wondrous reign?

“The Hebrew noun for the neck is עורף (oreph, Strong’s #6203), which is derived out of the Hebrew verb ערף (araph, Strong’s #6202) meaning “to be necked,” as in “breaking the neck.” Jeff Benner. (13)

Yes, Come Yeshua Come, with Breakneck speed and set up your Kingdom!

After reading Jeff Benner’s definition of “neck breaking” Mrs. Gallagher and I were reminded of a few scriptures and several more idioms. Pain in the neck——a millstone around the neck—dead from the neck up—neck to neck—long neck–kinked neck–stiff necked, and K. reminded me of how interesting it is that We adorn (like a Bride) our necks with a neck-lace. What a beautiful image!

“My son, observe the commandment of your father And do not forsake the teaching of your mother; Bind them continually on your heart; Tie them around your neck.” Proverbs 6:20-21. Stephen takes this “neck” message further and they end up stoning him to death after they placed their fingers in their ears in rebellion. ““You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.  Which one of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who had previously announced the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become; you who received the law (Torah) as ordained by angels, and yet did not keep it.” Acts 7:51-53 NASB. We know HaShem became very upset with His children and at one point said, “Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.” Exodus 33:3 NIV.

  1. Gallagher explains: “Stiff-necked” evokes the image of an unsubmissive, defiant, and stubborn animal that will not accept the yoke of the master in order to work the land. Necks are where burdens and/or yokes are lain.”

“In Hebrew, Egypt is called Mitzrayim. When God took us out of Mitzrayim, He extricated us from the place of constricted opportunities, tight control, and narrow-mindedness, where movement was severely limited.” (14)

You know another amazing detail about all this stiff neckness– Giraffe’s necks are so flexible they are like a slinky! Yes, its neck is said to be comparable to those cylinder wire toys from our childhood. The ones that seemed to effortlessly slink down the stairs steps.

“We call the vertebrae in the top portion of our backs the thoracic vertebrae. In humans, thoracic vertebrae are joined at the middle of the bone to provide added stability; and our cervical vertebrae fuse at the front and back for more mobility. Giraffe anatomy doesn’t follow this same construction, and its first and second thoracic vertebrae are bound in the same way that its cervical ones are, with ball-and-socket joints [source: Dagg and Foster]. (15) That adaptation gives the giraffe an extra point of flexibility.”

Could it be that a time is coming when Yeshua’s Body is not Stiff-necked, but flexible—bendable—bowing low like the Giraffe has to do to get a drink of water? Could it be that finally All the Body is going to be a people who uphold His Torah and our nation will be a nation that stands with Israel? A man named Jacob had his name changed to Israel and when he blessed the tribes, he told the tribe of Judah this.

“Your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you.” Genesis 49:8-9 GWT.

America has something else in common with this baby giraffe. This mother in Denver named Kipele gave birth at the beginning of March. According to the Denver post, “Although the birth went well, the calf was not initially nursing. Dobby received a plasma transfusion to boost his immune system and fight infection last week after his keepers noticed he had difficulty standing and nursing. Blood tests showed he wasn’t getting enough proteins needed to fight infections from his mother, Kipele.” (16)

giraffe 2

As I researched the Swahili meaning of Kipele I kept coming up empty handed. In English it seemed to mean pimple or scab but when I looked further I found this. (17)

monarch

According to this source, Kipele represent a beautiful butterfly. The father’s name Dikembe has a very Ephraim feel to it. “ The Meaning of Dikembe: ‘Rich and Powerful Ruler, Strong Ruler –(18)

Dobby brings the zoo’s giraffe herd to five, officials said. Most newborn giraffe’s measure 6 feet, but Dobby was five foot and instead of weighing in at about 150, Dobby weighed 73 pounds. I noticed the number 5 and instantly thought of grace. As we read earlier, the baby also needed a blood transfusion and again I am thinking of America. America was a strong powerful ruler just like the name Dikembe. I wrote a book that is no longer available as I am editing and adding some chapters to it, but the title I was given was “Give Birth to a New Nation.” The cover had a picture of a very pregnant woman draped in the flag. This baby giraffe weighed 73 pounds and this reminded me of the number 10 in Hebrew.

The number ten in Hebrew means–“Esehr [f.], ahsahrah [m.] Divine order, completed cycle, measure, or group (congregation) whether for good or evil, blessing or judgment. A tenth part represents the whole in a tithe. Thus, ten represents a complete congregation, body, or kingdom, whether good or evil.” (19)

America can be established for good and not evil which requires us turning back to YHWH and His Commandments and bending our stiff necks to receive His grace.

The name Dobby is quite peculiar. I looked into its meaning and this is what I found.

Dobby-

“British Dialect. A fatuous person; A fool. I believe America has also been very foolish. However, the meaning of Dobby as a last name was similar to Robert and since this is my Middle son’s name I knew instantly what that meant. A bright shining LIGHT.” (20)

Last name: Dobby. This interesting name is a dialectal variant of the name Dobb, which derives from the medieval given name “Dobbe”, itself a pet form of Robert, (Old English pre 7th Century “Hrodebert”).

Meaning of Dobby: ‘Famous, Bright, Shining, Clear, Diminutive of Clarence, English short form of Robert (meaning: the glorious Shining).‘ – (21)

Dobby was born in Denver Colorado and yes, I believe God is in the tiniest details. Denver means “green Valley” and Colorado has a Spanish origin and means “colored red.” (22) This could imply that America could move into green pastures covered red by the blood of the Lamb this Passover/ April season or our lush green hills could be bloody in a bad way. Will we allow our stiff necks to be yoked with Him the one who saved us and delivered us? Will we humble ourselves and uphold His Torah and bring back righteous ruling and elect righteous leaders who will uphold life?

I’m still waiting for April and Oliver to give birth in Harpursville New York. King David played the harp and demons fled. What a fitting name for these two parents and their location. I wonder what the name of their baby calf will be. Perhaps Zion? Israel?

There were two women in the Bible, one was named Ruth and the other Orpah. They were Moabites. Moab is the name of the incestuous son of Lot. According to the Torah, no descendent of Mo’av (Moab) is allowed in the assembly of Israel (Deuteronomy 23:3). And Yet Ruth bows her neck very low and comes with her mother in law Naomi to the House of Bread and she tells her Mother-in-law that where she goes, she will follow her. “But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. 17 Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. Thus may the Lord do to me, and worse, if anything but death parts you and me.” When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she [e]said no more to her.” Ruth 1:16-18 NASB.

She meets a wealthy land owner named Boaz and Ruth bows very low to him. “Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your sight that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” Ruth 2:10 NASB. Again think “neck.” She ends up marrying Boaz and is in the lineage of King David and our Messiah, Yeshua/ Jesus the Anointed One.

Her sister-n-law Orpah stayed in Moab—dry—dusty—stiff-necked Moab. Two women—two choices. Two nations—two births of a calf. Will one stand under grace with the help of a blood transfusion from Yeshua? Orpah stayed in bondage, but Ruth left everything for a greater ending.

The name Orpah means “NECK.” Awe, this neck thing is deep!

My mother said that when she was pregnant with me the Father told her to call me Ruth. I lived in Moab a very long time. Even when I thought I had come out of Moab, I had not surrendered my stiff-neck like a humble Ruth would. It took much dying of flesh and a long walk from Moab to reach the House of Bread. Just as Ruth had to take a journey to Bethlehem and bow very low before Boaz, who represents our Father, I too, had to give up all of that past life filled with sickness, unsubmissiveness, defiance, stubbornness and yes, a very stiff-neck.

A prophet named Obadiah had a message for the people of Edom and the restoration of Israel. Edom means red like Esau. He too had a stiff neck and lost his birthright—sold it for a bowl of soup. I leave you with this word from Obadiah’s.

“For the day of the Lord draws near on all the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you. Your dealings will return on your own head. “Because just as you drank on My holy mountain, All the nations will drink continually. They will drink and [k]swallow And become as if they had never existed.  But on Mount Zion there will be those who escape, And it will be holy. And the house of Jacob will possess their possessions.  “Then the house of Jacob will be a fire And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau will be as stubble.” Obadiah 1:15-18 NASB.

Eat, Eat, and Eat Some More

As I was studying and writing Blow a Trumpet in Tekoa, I heard this in my spirit. “My blessing for you in the sixth year that it will bring forth the crop for three years.” Leviticus 25:21.
Right now the Father is giving us so much spiritual food we dont have time to eat it all. It’s being poured out so fast and so richly that those who are seeing it have pulled up to the banquet table and are feasting and devouring it like gold. Others are caught up in this world and the things of this world.
Elijah fled to a cave after killing the false prophets. While he was hiding from Jezebel, the Father gave him food that sustained him for 40 days. ”
The angel of the LORD came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise, eat, because the journey is too great for you.” 1st Kings 19:8.
I am urging the people of Yah to eat and eat all you can and hide it in your heart and gird up your loins because on this journey and the days ahead of us we will NEED it.

10 Things You May not Know About the Ten Commandments

ten%20commandments-5

The Ten Commandments, Writings, or Statements, come straight out of the Torah (Law) Jesus/Yeshua said: “If you love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15.

  1. These ten are part of the 613 laws given to the children of Israel.
  2. They are about our thoughts, speech, and actions towards G-d, others and our parents.
  3. Several Biblical translations says “Thou shalt not kill,” this is not a reflection of the truer meaning which is better translated as murder. Murdering someone and killing someone is two different things. As Rabbi Dovid Bendory put it, “killing” itself need not have a moral context — a soldier kills in battle, an intended murder victim kills in self-defense, a drug dealer kills his competition, and a doctor kills a patient. Whether “killing” carries criminal culpability (the drug dealer), civil culpability (the doctor), or is righteous (the intended murder victim) depends on the context and circumstances.”

Murder is something premeditated upon or something evil, where killing could happen by means of your car striking another car. In the Bible, they had a place called a city of refuge where a person who had accidently killed someone could flee for protection. In the Commandments concerning this topic of murder and killings, it says that a person who murders someone intentionally with hatred and evil in their heart must be killed. This is righteous killing according to the Torah.

  1. The commandment to not bear false witness against your neighbor is one that we see happening in the case of wicked Jezebel who swore Naboth had lied against the King and Yahweh. This caused an innocent man to die. Bearing false witness and lying can be two different things. Let me explain. If you tell your 80-year-old grandmother you like her curtains after she questions you about them, but secretly find them too flashy for your taste, this is not bearing false witness, and this is making your grandmother feel good in a matter that causes no one harm. When we translate these into our own beliefs we take away from the seriousness of them. If you are speaking about a person in a negative light and it causes them to be isolated or treated differently in your assembly or your own family, you are causing harm. Also, in the manner of bearing false witness, you can be guilty of not saying anything to defend a righteous person while listening to others bear falsely or paint the person in a negative light. This too is a sin.
  2. This next Commandment on Sabbath keeping is one that makes a person shake their head at what has happened concerning it. If you have studied the Feast at any length you realize that this set apart day cannot be changed and Paul’s words from Galatians have been misconstrued by ignorant men. I could spend all day here but most already believe that Jesus/ Yeshua arose on Sunday and therefore we now worship on Sunday or they believe getting caught up with a day is bondage and a ritual. The Father said to remember it and keep it holy. Did He change His mind? No.

Remember the Sabbath and keep it Kadosh (Holy). Kadosh means something set aside and separated for a certain time. The same meaning of this word is what is spoken at a wedding when the groom says to the bride, “You are betrothed to me.” The Sabbath was made for man and it was never changed to Sun-day. No one in the Bible had church on Sunday. The Creator picked one day and set it aside and called it holy. After Jesus arose from the grave and ascended, the apostles and men and women of G-d kept the Sabbath. In the new kingdom, all will keep the Sabbath. It is a rehearsal for our wedding day. A rehearsal for the real deal. The earth and everything in it requires rest. I want you to look at a word we read over and over again and that word is “Custom.” According to Strong’s, this is something fixed forever. Appointed (1), customs (5), due (1), fixed order (1), fixed patterns (1).

Let’s look at a few verses concerning this.

“As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbaths he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,” Acts 17:2. “Every Sabbath he (Paul) reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.” Acts 18:4. Never do we read the men of G-d telling the Greeks or Jews that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday, nor do we read of any of them starting a Sunday “church” and giving it a man-made name.

“After setting sail from Paphos, Paul and his companions came to Perga in Pamphylia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem. And from Perga, they traveled inland to Pisidian Antioch, where they entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and sat down. After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the synagogue leaders sent word to them: “Brothers, if you have a word of encouragement for the people, please speak.”… Acts 13:13-15. It was their “custom” and we see Jesus/ Yeshua kept it perfectly. “Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath.” Luke 4:16.

Acts 13:42 (NKJV) “So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.”

Acts 13:44 “On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of Yahweh.”

Now let’s look at the New Kingdom.

“For just as the new heavens and the new earth

Which I make will endure before Me,” declares the LORD,

“So your offspring and your name will endure.

“And it shall be from new moon to new moon

And from sabbath to sabbath,

All mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 66:22-23.

  1. The word Law or Torah means to teach or to instruct. We are G-d’s children and we need instructions. If you saw your child eating trash or playing in the street, you would instruct them.
  2. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalms 119:105. This WORD mentioned that lights the way is none other than the Torah. Yeshua/ Jesus was the Word made flesh. If you quote this scripture and were made to memorize it years ago, I beg you to ponder all the verses in Psalms 119. This is where you will learn much wisdom and knowledge about the instructions for life, marriage and yes, eternity.

  1. Many religious groups have been at war over the law (Torah) and some claim it was done away with, while others claim we should be Torah observant and keep it all– others wish to exclude sacrifices. This causes arguments and people get very unbalanced. Some venture towards a hyper-grace belief and basically live however they want with a belief that they will be forgiven. (Once saved always saved) Others run to keep all the Torah and begin to wear headscarf’s, tallit’s, grow beards and not even drive their cars after sundown. Often, Christians who proclaim that the law was done away with, or that they no longer need to keep it, end up in jail over keeping a portion of it or even quoting it–never realizing that they were.
  2. Once we engrave it on our hearts we have a fear of breaking it because we love our Father and His Son who died for us. “He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me …” (John 14:21)

“Now by this, we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (I John 2:3-6). If you are married and love your husband, you want to please him. If you are intimate with him and honor him, you will not want to break his trust. Some people marry for lust, money, or for what they can get out of it. They may go through the motions of obeying and honoring, but their hearts may be far from their husbands. The Father told his people that they honored him with lip service but their hearts were far away. Some only marry for material wealth, fame, attention, a way out of a bad home life, and so on. However, the wife who loves her husband will be faithful and true because she does not want to be given a certificate of divorce and sent away in shame. And that is exactly what HaShem did with His people, but He is merciful.

“The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.” Hosea 3:1.

We just read how we can know if we love our husband or not. “He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me …” (John 14:21)

“Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see the Master.” Hebrews 12:14 ISR.

Apartness. Separating from the world and the things of the world in order to live for eternity with our Father and His Son. Ponder the Ten this week. See if you can recite them without looking at your Bibles.

Blessings!

letters-ref-aleph

I understand why people start scrolling faster and faster when they see a religious post on social media. I’m starting to ignore them like the plague. Religion is a Latin word that means bind, tie up. “Within the system of what we would now call “Roman religion,” the term religio originally meant an obligation to the gods.”  Reminds me of our football games and everyone screaming and yelling for their team to win. Their gods.
I received a friend request from a man the other day on Facebook, and in every post he is trying to tell me I pronounce the name of the God I worship wrong, His Sons name wrong and that I’m headed to hell. Geez, Lawd help the woman at the well!
We have One book that divides millions.

When I first started seeing things in the Bible and was awakened to Torah back in and around 2008, I jumped on board hammering away. I wrote books to try and stop a lot of harm and division I had witnessed in the Body of Messiah. I wanted to explain and expound on many topics that caused division and get to the roots of it. I studied the mikvah before anyone knew what it was in my circles. I studied the Feast days before they were popular outside of the One world Church of God and the Messianic congregations.
I realize now, No one really cares.

America has their own Jesus they’ve created in their hearts and a building with a title on every corner and someone itching to tell them how blessed and highly favored they’ll be at their building or how they’re headed for hell if they don’t show up every week.
They say things like, “we preach and know the truth in our building. Miracles are happening at our building. These buildings made with human hands have nothing to do with the assembly of believers and the hearts of every person who has ever had a salvation experience that CHANGED THEM FROM THE INSIDE OUT.

On the flip side of this building and pastor pedestal syndrome, we have a group of people who are digging for truth so far and so fast and trying so hard to get to the very beginning of our Hebraic roots that they’ve no relationship left with the One who found them dirty and lying in a ditch. The one who washed them and anointed them with oil and said, …” I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord GOD. “Then I bathed you with water, washed off your blood from you and anointed you with oil. “I also clothed you with embroidered cloth and put sandals of porpoise skin on your feet; and I wrapped you with fine linen and covered you with silk.” Ezekiel 16:8-10.
Do not seek out truth until you lose your faith and forget His Grace that found you. Buildings are good to fellowship with others and encourage one another but don’t make them your gods.

A man demonized at a graveyard where he had made his home, needed no Hail Mary, no rosary beads, no baptism of tongues, no one dunked him in the water that day, no sinners prayer was said to invite Jesus or Yeshua in his heart, but he was CHANGED. If you were changed, you know it. You can look back and see that you are not the same person you once was.

Truth must meet love and compassion. Truth alone has no spirit and no obedience or joy. It’s just truth. You can have all the knowledge of every Feast of Yah and pronounce His name in perfect Paleo-Hebrew and be as dead as the tombs in the graveyard where the demonized men lived.
You can go to a building every week and eat your meal and wipe your mouth and be prideful, arrogant, self-seeking, and full of religion without any love. You can keep your Shabbat and air all your wisdom and be the most judgmental person on the planet. People get in their groups and they ignore some folks because they don’t agree with one portion of their teaching or doctrines. It makes it hard to even be one with some. They try and tell them they aren’t “saved.”
And really none of us are.
“But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
Matthew 24:13. Working out our own salvation is a very personal matter. Who am I to tell someone they’re going to hell in a hand basket or that I know the personal whispers of their heart ? Who am I ?

I was so excited when I learned about the Torah, the Feast, the Sabbath and His ways. I thought, now I will see unity. Now I will find a Body of Believers that have love and can come together humbly and seek Him and His Word. But now I see fights over other matters, like giants, demons, whether to cook after sun down, who can lead prayer, who can blah, blah, blah. . .

Forget my words and read HIS Words and notice how many times he says, “unity or become ONE.” This is Jesus, Yeshua, Yahushua, praying below.

“I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given to me, because they are yours.  Indeed, all I have is yours, and all you have is mine, and in them I have been glorified.   Now I am no longer in the world. They are in the world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, guard them by the power of your name, which you have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we are.  When I was with them, I guarded them by the power of your name, which you have given to me; yes, I kept watch over them; and not one of them was destroyed (except the one meant for destruction, so that the Tanakh might be fulfilled).  But now, I am coming to you; and I say these things while I am still in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves.

“I have given them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world — just as I myself do not belong to the world.   I don’t ask you to take them out of the world, but to protect them from the Evil One.   They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.   Set them apart for holiness by means of the truth — your word is truth. 18 Just as you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.  On their behalf I am setting myself apart for holiness, so that they too may be set apart for holiness by means of the truth.

“I pray not only for these, but also for those who will trust in me because of their word,  that they may all be one. Just as you, Father, are united with me and I with you, I pray that they may be united with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.   The glory which you have given to me, I have given to them; so that they may be one, just as we are one —  I united with them and you with me, so that they may be completely one, and the world thus realize that you sent me, and that you have loved them just as you have loved me.

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am; so that they may see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.   Righteous Father, the world has not known you, but I have known you, and these people have known that you sent me.  I made your name known to them, and I will continue to make it known; so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I myself may be united with them.” John 17:9-26 CJB.

Father I call you friend. I want to sup with you. Unite your people. Bring your Body together and let them become one. Let us all humble ourselves and fall down at your feet and worship you in Spirit and in Truth and with hearts that are hungry. Circumcise our flesh and heal us of our leprosy oh G-d!

By His Stripes?

10443763_10203030777423163_1136644405_n

Many years ago, my husband started a ministry that involved him and fellow officers going to the children’s cancer hospital and taking toys, visiting and praying over the sick. Some of the little children were able to get better and go home, others sadly became worse and died. They were innocent children whose lives were snuffed out too quickly. Many times we watch helplessly as our family or friends become sick and never recover. I had a dear friend get melanoma a few years back. She was in her early forties. I watched countless ministers and big name television evangelist pray over her and tell her she would live and not die according to Psalms 118. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” 118:17 KJV. Other prophetic ministers told her she would fully recover. They anointed her with oil and even made a copy of a cd with their prophetic positive affirmations of healing. She died months later as cancer spread through her body.

Does HaShem still heal? Yes, I believe He does. Can we lay hands on the sick and find them recovered? Yes, we can, but it doesn’t always end that way. Also remember, you can lay hands on the sick and pray for them but if they continue eating McDonalds, smoking, drinking too much and getting no exercise they may not recover.

You can lay hands on a sick person and bind a spirit and command a sickness to flee in the name of Jesus/Yeshua and you can call for the elders of the church to pray according to scripture, but it doesn’t always end well.

Any time a person gets sick or a loved one gets a serious health complication a couple of verses are used by mainstream Christianity. One of those verses is from the Tanakh or Old Testament.

“But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises* (stripes) we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.

This verse is one that needs way more study before blurted out. It is a scripture that is part of a whole group of chapters that are talking about a servant and that servant is Israel and yes, our Messiah Jesus/ Yeshua. It also needs to be addressed that the word stripes is not part of the original translation. We like to picture Jesus/Yeshua’s body being whipped with stripes for our healing, but we must also realize that at the cross we were healed from sin and death.  We were engrafted into the vine or were accepted back into  the covenant.

There is a dual concept going on here. Peter uses it. “…and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.” 1st Peter 2:24 NASB.

The whole nation of Israel will be healed. After HaShem (God) issued them a certificate of divorce due to their sin and adultery they were able to come back into covenant after the cross. That’s why we see over 3,000 souls coming back into covenant after Peter gives his well-known sermon in Acts chapter two and three.

Yeshua is recognized by many as the servant in Isaiah, but the passages are also about the nation and people of Israel. Let’s look at that.

“But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend,…” Isaiah 41:8 NASB.

“But now, listen to me, Jacob my servant, Israel my chosen one.” Isaiah 44:1 NLT.

“Pay attention, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I, the LORD, made you, and I will not forget you.” Isaiah 44:21 NLT.

I could give you multiple verses declaring who Yahweh’s servant is but unless you try on your Jewish glasses you won’t see it, and yes, we are His Servants. Could this verse be one for a future event? When the Messianic era arrives and all the nations see that Israel (not a land mass) is Yahweh’s holy people (servant) and although they have been beaten, scorned, placed in gas chambers, driven out of their lands and rejected, the whole world’s eyes will be opened to them and their Messiah who will come and shake the nations? Yes, this is a passage for a future event as well.

Many servants in the Bible suffered. Moses suffered. King David suffered. Joseph suffered. Jeremiah suffered. Isaiah who wrote it was sawn in half. Jacob suffered and walked with a limp all his days. Today we would call a surgeon and get a hip replacement, but he walked with it out of the socket. HaShem was healing back then. We see healings and even lepers being made whole after dipping. We see a young boy come back to life after a prophet lies on top of him seven times. We witness Marion’s leprosy leaving and many other miracles but we also witness great suffering. Every one of Jesus/Yeshua’s men had to drink the cup he drank. They were crucified, boiled in pots, beheaded and died horrific deaths long after he had ascended to His Father.

This message is not a message to discourage anyone from being healed. This is a message I feel may help some more than others, like my friend’s daughter who was in her teenage years when her mother left this earth. Her trust in the ministers of the gospel, the ones who stood in front of the pulpit each Sunday or were well-known television evangelist, told her that her mother would live and not die and that by His stripes we are healed. Now she assumed they had lied to her. Yes, one day her mother will live forever in a glorified body. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:..” 1st Thessalonians 4:16. But were the men and women who prophesied talking about a future event? One even told her the mass on her head was a cyst and not cancer and to not even go back to the doctor. These men and women wanted to encourage her through faith and speaking words from His Word, but had they heard Him? Oh, the messages we give and speak should be with fear and knowing we surely hear Him.

They had given her false hope. They had prophesied a message out of faith but it did not come to pass. Now she had a dilemma. Would she stop believing in the God they told her would heal her mother or would she become skeptical of any man of the cloth? The Bible calls certain men false prophets. I am not calling these men false prophets , but just trying to make all of us who are gifted in the prophetic more fearful of what we say and speak over people.  “When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken.” Deuteronomy 18:22 NASB. Taking the Lord’s name in vain is something that happens when one of these men or women begin to tell you something out of their own hearts.  When these teachers and preachers give you an itching ear word and it doesn’t happen could they be false prophets? Possibly.  Could it happen in years to come? Yes.

Should we test the spirits? Yes.

Have I ever been wrong about a message? Yes, sadly.

Another verse used often when praying for the sick is “I am the God that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26 KJV. But when we read the whole passage we see a lot more going on here. My advice to Christians is to open your bible and study it. Most people don’t read their Bible unless it’s Sunday morning and we surely don’t study them, for if we did we wouldn’t be teaching half the nonsense we are. Let’s look at the fullness of this verse that is spoken after the Israelites had gone without water for days and were bitter and grumbling.

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26 KJV.

Looks like our Heavenly Father was placing diseases on the Egyptians. Yes, He had sent lice, frogs, locust, bloody water, boils, darkness, and even death. Sometimes sickness is a whole other matter, a matter of our hearts being turned toward our flesh, ungratefulness, ungodliness, bitterness, selfishness, jealousy, and all manners of pride.

When we look at sickness and disease we see it is alive and strong in the new portion of our Bible. For more information on sickness and disease check out my free chapter from my Doctrines of Demons Part 1 book. Just click below where is says “Free Chapter.”

Greater Works?

1098477_10201023694927355_555255005_n

Works= Strong’s Hebrew 5647. abad and means to serve, to be a servant. Let’s find out what Jesus/ Yeshua was really talking about in the verse below.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father.”  John 14:12 NASB.

The verse above is used much in charismatic circles. It’s stated as a means of doing signs and wonders and healings, but is that what the verse is talking about?
A couple of things are going on here in the passage but let’s first delve into the miracles Jesus/Yeshua did.

He turned water into wine. He raised the dead, brought the man Lazarus out of the grave after four days. He opened the eyes of the blind and he walked on water. He healed the lepers, the demonized and even restored the soldier’s ear that was cut off. Not only did he do these amazing miracles, he also appeared to them after he had died and was resurrected. The Bible says he changed his form.
“After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the country.” Mark 16:12 NASB.
“… and His garments became radiant and exceedingly white, as no launderer on earth can whiten them.” Mark 9:3 NASB.
I’ve listed a few items above but I think that if we really think hard about this we can see that no earthly fleshly man has ever done miracles GREATER than Yeshua/ Jesus the Messiah!

So what does this verse mean? When we look at this closely we see he uses the word “Works,” and he says at the end of the sentence, “Because I go to my Father.” So what is he talking about?
When Jesus was getting ready to ascend he told his followers that he was going to His Father and to wait for the gift of the Holy Spirit to be poured out and that he was sending the Comforter. After all of this happens we see Peter giving a sermon and over 3,000 souls coming back into the covenant and then 5,000 souls. Another thought that comes to mind is the fact that the Apostles take the message throughout the world. The message of the Lamb of Yahweh, who takes away the sins of the world went forth.
Jesus was not talking about signs, miracles, and wonders. He was talking about righteousness, obedience, and the Torah going forth with grace and mercy for all people. Greater works came for all people, not just the children of Isreal but the dogs that ate the crumbs under the Master’s table! So why have we made it about signs?

“One day some teachers of religious law and Pharisees came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, we want you to show us a miraculous sign to prove your authority.” But Jesus replied, “Only an evil, adulterous generation would demand a miraculous sign; but the only sign I will give them is the sign of the prophet Jonah.” Matthew 12:38 NLT.

See, Jesus/ Yeshua was talking about works. Beware of false prophets who come to you with their magic tricks and their smooth words of prophetic prosperity and miraculous healings. Yes, our Father is so powerful He can do anything and He is still in the miracle working business but the Bible has been used at times for fame and fortune.
“For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.” Mark 13:22 NASB.
